Who is this secretive street artist nicknamed the “female Banksy”? Bambi is surprisingly unknown to most despite her strong celebrity following that includes commissions from Brad Pitt, Adele, Harry Styles, Rihanna, Robbie Williams…and even Kanye West with his sexy wedding gift to Kim Kardashian.

Bambi has been in the spotlight ever her famous graffiti of Amy Winehouse appeared. The portrait, titled Amy Jade, appeared in Camden near the late singer’s home shortly after her untimely death.

Predominantly London-based, the artist’s work deals with subversive and politically satirical themes just as the wildly popular Bansky, using primarily spray -paint, diamond dust, and gold leaf through stencil.

Brad Pitt seems to be her biggest celebrity fan, having purchased a handful of works, including a portrait of Angelina Jolie, another one of Justin Bieber, and a $100,000 canvas replica of Prince William and Kate Middleton with the slogan “Just like Marmite.”

Actress Michelle Rodriguez also commissioned Bambi a portrait of her then-girlfriend, supermodel Cara Delevingne. Rumours say that when the two reportedly split in May, Rodriguez had the portrait returned to the artist.

When word leaked out that the artist was a “world-famous singing star”, speculations began to fly. Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell and M.I.A. have all been offered up as possible identities of the artist-in-disguise.

Whatever the case, Bambi’s success among celebrities continues to increase and her commissioned work of art for Kanye’s piece-of-art wife will surely not be her last!
