For the modern working girl, Flower by Kenzo creates a link between nature and urban life. The poppy is a scentless flower but Kenzo has invented it’s timeless fragrance. Parma violet, gentle wild hawthorne, cassis and Bulgarian rose concoct the floral scent, which makes the perfume all the more feminine. Sweet vanilla, white musk and opoponax add a woody tone to enhance the powdery notes of the fragrance. Although it seems more like a Spring fragrance, this delicious scent was launched in autumn and is composed of winter flowers including mandarin, mimosa, camelia and patchouli. These add warmth and sensuality to the fragrance making it a welcoming scent for autumn.

It sounds almost like a winter cocktail, but the mixture of dark rum and vanilla make up the essence of Tom Ford’s Velvet Orchid. With myrrh to warm us up for the winter season. This strong, powerful scent is seductive and intriguing. It is a very cleverly concocted and thought up perfume. The suede in the blend is a little wink to the quintessential fall fabric. The black orchid and honey enhance the sensuality of this empowering fragrance. Wrap up in warm layers of velvet and this luxurious fragrance to give off sex appeal and strength.

Finally, we wanted to fill you in on a new release…Miu Miu launches it’s first ever fragrance! It is a very distinct floral scent in a beautiful bottle that resembles the matelassé design of the classic Miu Miu hangbags with a vintage-inspired ruby cap. The fragrance stays true to it’s brand using specific ingredients and designs. “We wanted to open the doors and the windows with this fragrance, says perfumer Daniela Andrier. “We didn’t want another gourmand; we wanted something different, enjoyable, and unexpected.”

The unique fragrance is made up of lily of the valley, which stays fresh and floral for hours, “There are lots of floral prints in the brand, and lily is very Miu Miu and recognisable. It’s blooming and joyful,” says Andrier. There are also tones of jasmine and rose, as well as Akigalawood. Akigalawood is an extract of patchouli, it is spicy, peppery and gives a vibrant scent rather than an earthy, woody one. This is a fresh, feminine fragrance which will remain timeless. For the new season, a brand new perfume is perfect to stand out. This sensual fragrance is warm and sweet and will blow away any holiday blues.
