Conceived as an immersive live show somewhere between a conference, audiovisual, and documentary experience, “Entropy” will take place in the SónarComplex auditorium on Thursday, 15 June, and is open to all Sónar by Day festivalgoers. The festival will present the European premiere of the new project from Carl Craig; the prodigious composer Nico Muhly as part of the 10th anniversary showcase for Icelandic label Bedroom Community; new live shows from Evian Christ, Clark, Vitalic and Little Dragon; and world class sets from selectors includingDaphni & Hunee, Jon Hopkins, Prins Thomas and Seth Troxler & Tiga, who on Saturday will offer a joint 6-hour set in the circular sound stage of SonarCar.

Sonar +D offers the best digital art and the most innovative creative and technological experience. This year topic at Sónar+D will be Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality and 360º AV show,  among many others.  The name of the piece  “phosphore” is derived from the Greek word “phos” (light) and “sphaira” (sphere). The resulting combination “phosphere”(“sphere of light”) is a new term to define an experience in a changing space formed by light. The “phosphere” installation superimposes the movement generated from a dance stage with the physical space of the installation, creating a totally new three-dimensional expressive space, originating from unique geometry. “Phosphere” is an experience built by a computer system that combines two different spaces on the same plane: the physical space of the room, and another digitally generated in a computer. Also of note will be the presentation of “Entropy”; a transmedia show about the origin and end of the Universe, led by astronomer Dida Markovic, with music by Dopplereffekt and visuals fromAntivj.
